Dana S Watts
Dana Watts is the MS Technology Facilitator at the American Embassy School (AES). Previously she has taught MS Humanities at AES, HS English at the International School of Bangkok (ISB), English Literature at Buffalo State College, and at various public and private school stateside. Over the past few years, Dana has started presenting at various conferences; most recently: “Technology and Curriculum: Moving Forward Together” at Learning 2.011 in Shanghai, and at the NESA Spring Educators conference in Bangkok 2010, Dana assisted Jeff Utecht to run an institute on “Blended Learning Communities”. In addition, she was one of the four organizers of an EARCOS weekend workshop in Bangkok to bring together beginning technology users to build understanding of digital tools. Ms. Watts has also recently attended the following conferences: Learning 2.011-September 2011; 21st Century Learning Conference-February 2011; “Bridging the Gap” and a special pull-out 1:1 session at Yokohama International School with Kim Cofino-November 2010; ASB Un-Plugged-March 2010, 21st Century Learning Conference-November 2009, ISTE June-July 2009. Gary Coyle
Gary Coyle is a seasoned educator in the middle of his twenty-third year of teaching. He has taught everything from ninth grade US History to sixth grade in a self-contained classroom, with the bulk of my teaching being middle school social studies and reading language arts. Currently Gary is the Elementary School Technology Coordinator at the American Embassy School (AES) in New Delhi, India where he has previously served as a part time middle school technology facilitator and humanities teacher. Prior to AES he has taught in both public and private schools in the US and at the Singapore American School .
Educational technology has always been the key component in his best practices of instruction. His students have been creators rather than consumers who have taken an active role in many special projects that effectively use technology to flatten their worlds.
In addition, Gary has designed and developed numerous staff training opportunities related to technology integration and has attended many national and international conferences on technology integration and 21st century learning. He holds a Masters degree in Educational Technology from San Diego State University and maintains several blogs including his professional portfolio at www.garycoyle.com
