We considered the iPad 2 vs iPad 3 scenario, and decided that at an elementary level the get 5 for the price of 4 deal with the iPad 2 was the way to go. Thoughts on the new iPad? Or how about the iPad2 now at $399. Does that price make it a more affordable option? What are the limitations?

Our school has committed to buying 1 class set of iPads per grade level (3 classes per grade level) at this point (grades KG1-Grade 2). We are hoping to get some in upper elementary next. We had this discussion at our school as well and came to the same conclusion–we’d rather have more iPads than newer iPads.
