Hello, I teach Humanities and English year 7 and 8 in the MYP. Currently our units of study in English are the play Frankenstein, and the Tempest, the novel Good Night Mr. Tom. This course focuses on visual literacy. We’ll be talking about videos, screencasts, presentations, etc.

Just finishing up a Google Earth research project for social studies with 6,7,8 graders. Learned lots as it was all new. Kids liked it, but I will need to do some tweaking for next time around. Can’t wait to hear about it! Google Earth is an amazing program…and with all the layers out there it can be used in so many ways. One of my favorite educational programs.
