| Goal: The students with the use of a wiki will share their knowledge with others about health issues. Role: You will work with a partner, and then with your classmates to share their knowledge of health issues such as bullying. Audience: Your classmates; other students around the world who are interested in this topic. Situation: Using the wiki and other technologies to enhance your learning about health issues. The students will be able to share their thoughts and interact with others in the classroom and around the world. The students will gather images, information, you tube videos to learn more about their health. Product Performance: Your work will be incorporated into a class wiki which will be used as a teaching/learning resource for other grade 8 students. Extension: | Assess the impact of your behavior on others as it relates to health Differentiate between healthy and unhealthy behaviors. Identify internal and external influences on your health and behaviors. Explain: How does your school deal with Bullying? Interpret: What behaviors can you use to that stop bullying in your schools? Perspective: Self-Knowledge: Write a reflection on how the You Tube videos impact your learning. Empathize: Write a reflection on the Wiki about how behaviors affect others and what changes you can make. |
