Stage 2 – Assessment Evidence

To create a movie to help teacher teach the targeted language in the unit "travel"; This movie also provides the
first hand learning resources for students to have the authentic experiences in travelling in beijing;The below is my first
first self made movie.


GRASPS Task Six Facets of Understanding
Goal: To master the vocabulary, the phrases and the relevant sentence drills on the unit of travel and gain deeper
understanding of travelling in Beijing.

Role: writer, director or editor

Audience: students and teachers

Situation: students work in groups, partners or individuals

Product Performance: 1) students' own travelling stories

Interpret: Introduce the travelling backgroud, the historical events

Students who have been to Beijing can share more personal experiences with the group or the class

Apply: Students work in groups or individually
1) To interpret as much as they can from the movie those
Chinese signs appeared in all kinds of public places
2) To compose one's own travelling story based on the backgroud and information provided in this movie;
3) to produce one's own travelling movie
