  • How can we determine if information on the web is reliable?
  • What can we do if we are a victim of Cyber bullying?
  • How can we stay safe when using the web?
  • When and how can we use copyrighted materials?
Stage 2 – Assessment Evidence
GRASPS TaskSix Facets of Understanding
Goal: Students will demonstrate their knowledge of acceptable use policies and digital skills.

Role: Share and discuss AUP and digital literacy skills

Audience: 5th Grade students

Situation: Students will design a Smartboard or Powerpoint presentation that includes fair use images and/or properly cite source. The presentation must include information about AUP and best practices of applying digital literacy skills

Product Performance: Students will present Smartboard or Powerpoint to their peers. The students will grade their own and each others presentation based on a rubric

Extension: Students will also take a pre and post survey questionaire focused on AUP and D.L. skills
(Explain, Apply, Interpret, Perspective, Self-Knowledge, Empathize)

Apply- Powerpoint and Smartboard presentations


Self-Knowledge- Rubric self assessment
Lesson Notes:Survey Monkey will be used for the Pre and Post Survey
