- I will use the computer and other electronic equipment (cameras, microphones, headphones, Smartboards, etc.) carefully.
- I understand that I must always show good citizenship by being responsible, respectful and trustworthy when I am using the computers.
- I will only work on the programs and web pages that my teacher tells me to use.
- I will obey copyright laws. This means that I will not make illegal copies of music, games, movies, pictures or written work which belong to others.
- I will ask for help when I do not understand what to do.
- I will never give my name, age, or other information about myself on the computer without asking an adult first.
- I will always tell an adult if I read or see something that is not appropriate for me.
- I will never use the computer to hurt, frighten or bully others.
- I will print only when my teacher tells me to.
- I will only use my file or folder on the computer or server to save my work.
- I will keep my password a secret.
- I will never use a password that belongs to someone else.
3 will have a student use an unauthorized program that causes the computer to transform into a robot and fly out of the room.
4 will show a student selling copies of a famous painting at lunch
5 will show a student asking the teacher how to do print something the right size on the paper and getting help (also addresses 9)
6 is tricky because we do not want to visualize the negative consequences, but the positive side is boring. I tentatively intend to have a crocodile showing up at someones door with a printout in their hand showing the corresponding details.
7 will be handled with facial expressions in a funny tongue-in-cheek way, perhaps with the teacher making an appearance at the end to look at the computer display.
8 is to be way over the top, with a student chasing another student holding a computer high overhead threatening to hit them. Said student retaliates by printing out caricatures of the first student addressing the term slightly more subtly and touching on 9 as well.
9 has been hit twice, I am into hours of work here anyway, so I skip it.
10 this one does need further inspiration, but in the interest of being complete I envisioned the student doing something like saving over a speech by the principal with hilarity ensuing.
11 and 12 would be handled at the same time with the relatively common occurence of asking how to log on, and saying 'oh, just use mine.'
