The first week of class will be making sure you have the necessary software installed on your computer and that you have gained access to the course wiki so that you can add, change, and update information as needed.

Set up your RSS Reader
Activity: Set up Google Reader (You should have already signed up for a Google Account) Watch the videos below to walk you through how to get started.

After you set up your Google Reader, subscribe to the following blogs:

We STRONGLY recommend starting with 20 Good RSS feeds. The 10 above will get you started and we are asking you to add at least 10 RSS feeds from others in your Cohort. Find 10 people who you think will push your learning in this course, or you have something in common with and can learn from. 20 RSS feeds makes for a great reader!
