| Goal: You will produce a personal narrative digital story to share with students from another country who are learning to speak English. Role: You will find appropriate images to help convey your personal narrative story you have chosen to share. Audience: Students in Buenos Aires, Argentina Situation: You will use a storyboard template, and iMovie to create digital story for one of your published Personal Narratives. You will need to find appropriate, creative commons images to help convey your story. Product Performance: Your digital story will be posted on the Digital Storytelling Wiki. A successful digital story will include:

| (Explain, Apply, Interpret, Perspective, Self-Knowledge, Empathize) Explain: Students will use their published personal narrative story to create a digital version to share with a global audience. Apply: Students will use iMovie to create the digital story. Students will demonstrate their understanding of the use of images/music under creative commons when they search for and locate appropriate still images for their personal narratives. Interpret: Students will make efficient use of the storytelling elements (images, music, transition) to activate the imagination of the listeners and evoke emotion. Perspective: Students reflect on how this project helped them to communicate with an audience. Self-Knowledge: Students self-evaluate their speaking skills, and storytelling skills.
