Focus: The Changing Learning Landscape

Enduring Understanding: Collaboration, on a global scale, is a key component of 21st Century Learning.
Essential Question: How can we embrace globally collaborative projects in our curricular areas to address this facet of 21st Century Learning?

Agenda:
Note: Jeff leads 2:30 - 3:20 while Kim is in the Teacher Org Admin meeting

2:30 - 2:45: Introduce Horizon Report and FC Conference (please sit in table groups as listed below)

2:45 - 3:15: In your groups based on HR trends, your goal is to share with the class (in a 2 minute or less "elevator pitch" presentation) how "your" trend is changing the learning landscape. (see table groups below) There are 2 options for presenting (the whole class will vote on their choice), either:

• one 2 min or less group (or individual rep for the group) presentation to the whole class
  
• OR
  
• 1 rep from each group travels around to every other group in rotation to give the same 2 min or less presentation for each group (all presentations are given to all groups - the 1 group rep for each group will not be able to listen to the presentations).
  

Focus on: How is this changing the learning landscape?



3:15 - 3:30: Group presentations (2 minutes per group)



3:30 - 4:00: Split into groups based on interest in learning specific technology tools (un-conference style - no "leaders" just learners) (see location below)

4:00 - 4:15: Come back to original table groups to share what was learned

4:15 - 4:30: Introduce final project for Saturday, begin to organize into groups
